Detektif Conan - Blue Sapphire   Detective Conan (名探偵コナン, Meitantei Konan), also known as Case Closed and Detective Conan, is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. The series was serialized in the shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday published by Shogakukan since January 1994, with its chapters collected in several tankōbon volumes. Due to legal issues with the Detective Conan name, the English release from Funimation and Viz was renamed Case Closed. The series tells the story of a high school detective named Shinichi Kudo (or Jimmy Kudo in some English translations) whose body shrinks to a small size while investigating a mysterious organization and generally solves many cases by imitating the voices of his childhood friend's father and various other characters.
